From Autumn 2022, practices in Rayleigh and District PCN will be offering more appointments to patients at evenings and weekends. This is called “Extended Access”.
These appointments are extra and will not affect appointments that the surgery offers during the day. You can also still phone NHS 111 which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Appointments will be a mix of telephone and face-to-face with GPs and other healthcare professionals. You can book these appointments through your own surgery.
